Our commitment
Ternopil Dew wants guests and visitors with different abilities, technologies and access needs to be able to obtain hotel information and contact the team with dignity and independence. We consider accessibility in design, content, development, administration and ongoing quality assurance.
Standard and current status
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across the public website. WCAG organises accessibility around content that is perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
The website has been designed toward that target, but we do not yet make a formal claim of full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance. A complete independent accessibility audit and remediation review remains required before such a claim would be accurate. This statement records our present commitment and known position rather than certifying that every page is barrier-free.
Measures built into the website
Current measures include:
- semantic landmarks, heading structure and a skip link to main content;
- keyboard-operable navigation, forms and controls with visible focus states;
- form labels, instructions, validation feedback and understandable status messages;
- text alternatives for approved editorial imagery and decorative-image handling;
- responsive layouts, readable spacing and support for zoom and reflow;
- colour choices designed for useful contrast and information that does not rely on colour alone;
- respect for reduced-motion preferences; and
- publication controls that let authorised administrators correct content and image descriptions.
We include accessibility checks in regression testing and review important templates when features change.
Scope
This statement covers the public pages served on this hotel website, including rooms, dining, experiences, gallery, contact, policies, legal information and enquiry forms. The administration portal is restricted to authorised staff and is assessed through the platform’s separate operational quality process.
Known limitations
Despite our work, some barriers may remain. Current areas requiring continued review include:
- third-party destinations such as mapping, Instagram, WhatsApp or other external services, which we do not control;
- older or newly supplied media whose alternative text may need further editorial review;
- unusually long legal or policy content when viewed with very high text magnification; and
- hotel property-accessibility details that management has not yet verified for public publication.
We will document and prioritise confirmed barriers, provide a reasonable alternative where possible, and update this section when our assessment changes.
The physical hotel
Digital accessibility and physical-property accessibility are different. This statement does not claim a particular accessible room, entrance, route, parking space, bathroom, lift, pool access feature or communication aid unless that exact feature has been verified and published by hotel management.
Before travelling, contact the hotel with the specific access requirements for your stay or event. The team can discuss current facilities, room layout, routes and reasonable arrangements. Please seek direct confirmation before relying on a property feature.
Browser and assistive-technology support
The website is intended to work with current versions of major browsers and commonly used keyboard, screen-reader, magnification and speech-input technologies. Older browsers or unsupported combinations may not receive the same experience. Keeping your browser and assistive technology current can improve security and compatibility.
Feedback and assistance
If a page is difficult to use, information is unavailable in a format you need, or an enquiry form prevents completion, use the contact options below. We will acknowledge accessibility feedback, investigate it, and aim to provide the information or a practical alternative as soon as reasonably possible. Complex technical remediation may take longer, but we will explain the next step.
You may also contact the hotel for assistance completing an enquiry. Please do not send sensitive medical details unless necessary; describe the practical support or format you need.
Review of this statement
We review this statement at least annually and after a significant redesign, new interactive service or material accessibility finding. The publication date and version above show the current reviewed statement.
